I read your book, and quite liked it. I like the premise. It’s one of the basic beliefs we should all have as teachers…. something Del and I used to talk about a lot…. If all we care about is academics, we are missing a whole bunch of what makes great kids. AND great adults! I am so proud of you for writing this all down; it is hard to take something that you feel inside and find words to help others understand it, but I could hear your voice in my head as I read it, which was really neat! School is about learning, and learning comes in many forms, big and small; they are all important, in different ways. We are, all of us, the sum of our experiences, and the lessons we have learned from them. Thanks for sharing this with me, I am quite honoured to have been asked to read it!

About me
I am a gritty, passionate, retired schoolteacher. I am also a mother, a grandmother, a wife, an aunt, a sister, and a friend. I am a cowgirl. A believer in our youth. I am many things. But I never thought I was a writer.
Completing this book has been a challenge and an accomplishment.
I took my years of experience and combined it with the knowledge of some very smart people that I deeply admire. I did all of this because there was one small lesson in my mind that I believe is very important for my grandchildren and everyone else.
I am a sports lover, an experimental chef, a gardener, and an avid reader.
I believe in making my bed every morning, always going to sleep with a clean kitchen, and treating people with respect.
I can be stubborn, guarded, and sometimes a little wild. I am a lover of new ideas.
And I guess now I’m a writer, too.

Every Teacher, Parent, Coach, Professor, Leader, Boss, Politician, Grandparent should read this eBook!
